During the last meeting with shareholders to illustrate the financial results for the 2017/2018 fiscal year, Ubisoft CFO Yves Guillemot talked about the projects in the pipeline for the current fiscal year, which will end on March 31, 2019, namely The Division 2 and more.
By the end of the period indicated, the company intends to launch three titles, namely The Crew 2 (June 29 release), Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and an “unannounced franchise.” No news about the possible launch within the fiscal year of titles like Beyond Good & Evil 2, Skull & Bones or a new Assassin’s Creed.
Apparently, Ubisoft expects to sell 19 million copies with this three video games – somewhat less than the 23 million copies expected between the four games of the previous fiscal year, and has detailed that it will be present at E3 2018, to be held in June.
The French company will hold an E3 conference on 11 June, and on this occasion, we will probably discover the release date of The Division and the third unannounced game scheduled for the current fiscal year.
