The Darkside Detective is a point-and-click graphical adventure that will be available on PC on July 27 through Steam.

The point and click adventure in pixel art are never enough, apparently. If you have finished or are still playing Thimbleweed Park, game acclaimed by the critics, then you should get ready for a new and pixelous adventure.

Spooky Doorway has just announced the release date of its new title, The Darkside Detective, a point and click paranormal title releasing on 27 July.

Developed by the Spooky Doorway team, the game was introduced in 2015 and was nominated for the Best Screenplay Award at the Zebbies 2016, praised for its ambience of the 90s and for breaking the fourth wall based on humor.

In The Darkside Detective, the players will join detective Francis McQueen and officer Dooley in investigating six strange supernatural cases taking place in the town of Twin Lakes. McQueen, the only member of the Darkside division, will be in charge of investigating these cases … in which no one else dares to inquire.

The price of this graphic adventure, for the moment, has not been revealed. Below we have published the launch video of the game.

Are you fans of point and click games? If so, well, this is the game for you.
