To the microphones of the Japanese newspaper Nikkei, Tatsumi Kimishima said he expected very positive numbers from the sales of Nintendo Switch. The president of the Kyoto house expects very high sales for the new console, similar to those recorded by the Wii.

Tatsumi Kimishima, president of Nintendo, revealed in a recent interview with Nikkei that he is expecting sales of Nintendo Switch similar to that recorded by Wii.

Just like Wii, even Switch offers a unique way of playing games and this, according to Kimishima, will prove to be a strong point of the platform, which will be able to intercept a very wide audience.

Tatsumi Kimishima recently also said that on Nintendo Switch more than 100 titles from 70 different publishers are currently in development. Nintendo President says he is very confident of the new Nintendo Switch and in particular of the many titles that will come out to the latter.

Wii has sold 101 million units worldwide, it is certainly a very ambitious goal. Recall that Nintendo Switch will hit stores on March 3, priced at $299.99 USD and 329.99 euro.
