A new digital board game published by Nomad Games, based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe, will be launched next month in the spring on PC and iOS platforms.
Talisman: The Horus Heresy offers fun for four players, which will ally with loyal and traitors to form battalions and legions of marine space.
In the original board of Talisman player’s took the role of an adventurer traveling through a magical kingdom. With Talisman: The Horus Heresy the player experience is scaled up exponentially, exploring not a kingdom but a whole galaxy in the 31st Millennium.
“We’re incredibly excited to finally announce the upcoming release of Talisman: The Horus Heresy; it’s been tough keeping this project under wraps until now,” said Nomad Games’ MD Don Whiteford.
“This game offers a fantastic introduction to the Horus Heresy universe, providing gamers with an insight into all the characters, weapons and battles.
“For those new to the world, Talisman: The Horus Heresy is an entry point into this exciting universe, but we’re confident that the depth of the game we’ve created will also appeal hugely to the legions of Horus Heresy fans across the globe.”
“Nomad Games has done a wonderful job with their adaptation of the Talisman board game, and now this use of the game’s proven and well loved mechanics with the wildly successful Horus Heresy setting takes it to a whole new level. Talisman + Horus Heresy – what’s not to like?” said Jon Gillard Games Workshop’s Head of Licensing.
