There is bad news for fans of System Shock, because this day the Nightdive Studios announced through an update on Kickstarter that the remake will be delayed until the second quarter of 2018.
Recall that System Shock Remake was planned to debut sometime in December 2017, however, it will now be delayed until mid-2018 when players can finally play the title.
But there is still information that could break the hearts of some fans. The studio mentioned by an update on Kickstarter that they are no longer sure whether they can launch System Shock Remake on all platforms simultaneously, although they mentioned they will do everything possible to do so.
As you remember, Nightdive Studios started a Kickstarter in late June to start the development of System Shock Remake, a title which was initially announced for Xbox One and PC, when the studio exceeded the $900,000 USD, the version for PlayStation 4 was also revealed.
In the end, the Kickstarter of System Shock Remake raised $1.3m, a figure that will serve to make the game available for Mac and Linux, with support for Razer Chroma, localization in several languages and will include extra content, ie, new areas and characters.
