Supermassive Games: “There Are No Plans for Until Dawn 2 At The Moment”

It seems that the dream of an Until Dawn 2 or other games set in the universe of the much-appreciated teen horror of Supermassive Games is destined to stop here.
As explained by Pete Samuels, CEO of the English company, “There are no plans at the moment” for the realization of new projects in the successful Sony franchise. Supermassive Games didn’t just develop Until Dawn but also took care of the Rush of Blood and The Inpatient prequels for PlayStation VR.
In that sense, Samuels stated the following in an interview to GameReactor: “Right at this moment in time I can’t imagine a world where we will make more games in the Until Dawn universe, but things change, you know. I don’t know if we’ll feel that way in a year’s time, two year’s time, but there’s certainly no plans at the moment.”
The latest statements of the English software house in this sense had been a little more possible, but apparently, we will have to resign ourselves, unless the IP is taken care of by someone else.
Supermassive Games is currently working on Man of Medan, the first chapter of The Dark Pictures Anthology, due out at the end of August for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
