Through its Twitter profile, Konami France has confirmed that Super Bomberman R for Nintendo Switch will allow you to play local multiplayer with only one game card, thanks to the functionality of Download Play.

It emerged in these days the rumor about the possibility that Nintendo Switch allowing the local multiplayer via the Downlad Play functionality, and arrives in these hours from Konami France a sort of confirmation on the matter.

A user asked via Twitter whether it will be possible lease the multiplayer with only one copy of the Super Bomberman R game and the official accounts of Konami France responded with a confirmation “Yes”, as you can see from the brief exchange on Twitter reported below. There are no details about it then, but it seems that it is confirmed the possibility of playing on Switch in local multiplayer with only one copy of the game, of course, for the titles that will support this functionality.

The operation could therefore be similar to that of the Download Play feature on the Nintendo DS and 3DS, which allows other players without cartridge to download some elements of the game in question and thus take part in a partial version of this local multiplayer.
