Styx: Shards of Darkness release set for March 14
Focus Home Interactive has announced that Styx: Shards of Darkness is finally put on sale in the forthcoming month of March 14 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Focus Home Interactive has narrowed a little schedule planned launches for early 2017, announcing that Styx: Shards of Darkness will hit stores on March 14. The game, sequel to Styx: Master of Shadows, will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Styx: Shards of Darkness will offer an adventure of stealth, although this time it will be much more ambitious than its first part and will have much more presupposition.
The developer has promised new types of enemies, more scenarios, new mechanics both to move around the stage to kill and a much greater freedom of action.
It is being developed with the Unreal Engine 4 and its history will tell us how after the fall of the Akenash tower, an extraordinary force obliges Styx out of hiding to travel to the city of the dark elves and steal an immensely powerful scepter.
Styx: Shards of Darkness is a more open and less linear than the original game, allowing complete missions through different routes and tactics. The varied styles of play that provides Styx come with a larger arsenal of tools and skills, including the ability to teleport. Through a new system of crafting it will also open the possibility of creating traps and other devices with components that are stolen.
