SteamWorld Dig 2 was one of the most remarkable indie titles of 2017. The game of Image & Form is already available on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Switch, and PC, although only in digital format. However, this could change very soon, as the USK classification body, also known as The Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body, listed the game for a physical release.

According to the details, the game could release on Switch in physical format thanks to Rising Star Games. The said distributor has worked with Image & Form on several occasions, such as the launch of the SteamWorld Collection for Wii U. Thus, it is estimated that the companies will collaborate again to take the SteamWorld Dig 2 on shelves.

Take into account that Image & Form has not confirmed anything, so we recommend you wait for more information about this possible release. It would not be strange to know that SteamWorld Dig 2 will arrive in physical format to the Nintendo console. This is because Image & Form plans to bring more of its games to the hybrid platform.

As you may remember, Image & Form recently hinted at the arrival of SteamWorld Heist to Switch. A short time later it confirmed that SteamWorld Heist: Ultimate Edition will debut on the system. This version of the game is now available for a price of $19.99 USD. The edition includes the base game and all its additional content.

SteamWorld Dig 2 retakes and refines the mechanics of the first installment of the series. In it, you will have to embark on a dangerous underground adventure in search of Rusty. This sequel will have more action and a longer duration compared to its predecessor.
