The studio Daedalic Entertainment announces a new title called State of Mind for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is scheduled to be released in early 2017.
State of Mind is a futuristic thriller that Daedalic presented at E3.
It is set in a world torn between a dystopian virtual reality and a utopian future. The player controls Richard Nolan, a father and journalist from Berlin who discovers that he, his wife and son have suffered a mind uploads. Richard’s mind upload has gone wrong. As a result, he still lives in the real world, but an incomplete second version of his self also exists in a secret Virtual Reality project.
Thus, Richard can play in both the worlds and control several characters to resolve this adventure in third-person.
State of Mind launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2017 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
