Recently, Digital Foundry’s guys have released a new video analysis dedicated to the Open Beta of Star Wars Battlefront II.
The footage, found at the bottom of this news, shows some gameplay sequences captured on the PlayStation 4 Pro, with a dynamic resolution that suits the various scenes, with the aim of keeping a constant frame rate of 60 fps with a few sporadic drops, while with respect to resolution, the latter remains at 1440p, with 2560 × 1440 as the maximum value.
Digital Foundry has analyzed Star Wars Battlefront 2 Open Beta on PlayStation 4 Pro, testing the performance of the game on the new console of Sony. The new FPS title of DICE opts for a dynamic resolution that closely resembles the techniques adopted in Battlefield 1.
According to analyses conducted by the editors of Digital Foundry, the Open Beta of Star Wars Battlefront II for PlayStation 4 Pro employs a dynamic resolution that fits the scenes on the screen, in order to maintain a constant frame rate of 60 fps, even if there are a few fps drops. The target for resolution remains set to 1440p, with 2560×1440 as the maximum value recorded in Open Beta.
