As part of Star Wars Celebration, DICE revealed that expansion of Death Star for Star Wars: Battlefront will add 2 new characters. We refer to the bounty hunter Bossk and Wookie favorite of all, Chewbacca.
The third DLC for Star Wars Battlefront will be dedicated to the legendary Death Star, this is the name of the expansion, it will put in the shoes of the rebels, with the purpose of destroying the Empire’s flagship Galactic. As usual, with addition to the new maps, two new heroes will be added: the highly anticipated Chewbacca and the bounty hunter Bossk.
But that’s not all, because Death Star will include space battles, since in the new maps it will allow battles in space, outside the Death Star. There will also be scenarios within the premises of the favorite weapon of Darth Vader.
Death Star will also update the game with new modes, vehicles and weapons, but these details will be revealed later. At the moment, you can check out teaser of the upcoming expansion of Star Wars: Battlefront at the end of this article.
And if that was not enough, during the same event, DICE revealed that Star Wars: Battlefront will receive an expansion inspired by the film Rogue One. This DLC will add new scenarios and Jyn Erso as a playable character.
The design director, Niklas Fegraeus at the event, revealed the name of the expansion and confirmed that it will be available at the end of the year, tying the premiere of the film. As the name implies, the content is located in the Scarif planet, which appears in the trailer for Rogue One.
The expansion of Death Star will hit Star Wars: Battlefront in September.
