Star Wars Battlefront 2 will not have the Conquest mode
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will not have the Conquest mode, long requested by fans and especially from those who have known the DICE developer thanks to the Battlefield series.
Responding to the survey conducted by a group of users, Dennis Brannvall of DICE has ruled that the Conquest mode, a true icon of the Battlefield series, will not be a part of Star Wars Battlefront 2.
The associated design director Dennis Brannvall expressed it this way on Twitter, responding to the survey conducted by a large group of fans who clamored for the introduction of the mode.
According to Brannvall, “I don’t think we’ll go that far into our other franchise but there’s certainly things to learn from both.”
Having said that, previously, Electronic Arts had already declared their reluctance to come out with a new Battlefield next year in order not to damage Star Wars Battlefront 2, do you think it is right that the publisher attempts to differentiate their sagas thus?
Some users have noted that Conquest was present in the original Battlefront, and that therefore this choice of design would be extremely limiting for the new FPS of Star Wars.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is not yet official, but Electronic Arts has made already known on several occasions that the title is in the works for the next autumn season.
