After announcing that the first trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II will be shown to the public during Star Wars Celebration of April, Electronic Arts has confirmed it with a tweet that the game will be released in 2017, as already announced in recent months.
EA has finally officially announced Star Wars Battlefront II. The project had not yet been confirmed in all respects but in recent months has been discussed a lot of what would have been the plans of DICE regarding a sequel almost inevitable considering the very great importance of the brand.
All we know at present for Star Wars Battlefront 2 is that EA wants to make an even bigger title of the predecessor and that includes a single player campaign, totally absent in Battlefront released in 2015.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will hit stores later this year, probably in conjunction with Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, the new feature film of the saga due out in December.
To learn more about the new shooter of DICE we will have to wait until April 15, at 2:30PM ET/11:30AM PT when the developers will held a panel of the Star Wars Celebration in Orlando and will show the first trailer of the game.
