If you are eager to visit the universe of Star Wars again you must prepare, as the sequel to Star Wars: Battlefront is scheduled to debut in autumn 2017, as mentioned by Electronic Arts yesterday at a meeting with investors.
When an analyst asked when would the next game of Battlefront would arrive, EA chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen, confirmed that the sequel will come “within a year”. Thus, this suggests that the title would be debuting in fall 2017.
“We’re working very hard on making sure that is an extremely deep and engaging offering,” Jorgensen said when referring to Star Wars: Battlefront II.
During the month of May, the same Jorgensen said that Star Wars: Battlefront II will debut between April and December 2017. 6 months later, the company plans seem to be unchanged, so enthusiasts of Star Wars just have to wait one year to put their hands on this game.
As you remember, this is not the only game of Star Wars that EA is preparing. Visceral Games is developing a third-person title of this universe that will probably come in 2018. For its part, the developers of Titanfall, Respawn Entertainmet, are also working on an action adventure game of this famous franchise.
For now, players of Star Wars: Battlefront should expect the expansion based on the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which will debut in December and will include content based on this film.
