NieR: Automata proved to be a success for Platinum Games and Square Enix, as the title already has more than 1 million copies distributed. However, it is possible that many have missed the original game, so the company put it on sale again in their online store, at least in Europe.
If you have not played the first Nier, you now have an opportunity to recover it. To celebrate the milestone of Nier: Automata, Square Enix has decided to reprint copies of the predecessor.
At the time Nier is not yet for sale, but you can subscribe to the waiting list. The cost is 28 pounds, about thirty euros.
Thanks to a reddit user, we know that Nier has returned to the Square Enix store and is available for €29.99. The same company revealed that relaunching the game is due to the success of NieR: Automata.
For now, there is no information in the American store of Square Enix, but hopefully the company will also release some copies in the same territory. Also, it is necessary to mention that the game is not available in the digital stores of Xbox or PlayStation.
Nier debuted in 2010 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and 7 years later, we saw the sequel of NieR: Automata that has had a warm welcome from the players.
