During Gamescom 2016, the director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Naoki Yoshida, spoke in an interview about the possibility that this title of massive online RPG comes to Xbox One.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is already available on PC and the PlayStation platform. This means that the players of Xbox One are left out, although this is something the Xbox boss Phil Spencer hopes to change, at least according to a report that we saw earlier this year.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

There are good and bad news on the matter. The bad news is that the game is not yet available on Xbox One, but the good news is that neither Microsoft nor Square Enix rule out the possibility, at least according to the DualShockers website who spoke with producer and director, Naoki Yoshida.

When he was asked about this issue, due to the opening of the cross-platform that Microsoft has had lately, Yoshida explained that one of the main challenges was to create a new version of the game for Xbox.

However, it is not a matter that is buttoned, because the same developer explained that in a month he will have a meeting with the Microsoft team that is based in Seattle, and there will be discussed seriously the possibility of bringing Final Fantasy XIV to Xbox One. That is to say, there are possibilities.

Do you think that this game reaches the current generation of Microsoft console? Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
