Square Enix considering to add Luna and others as playable character in Final Fantasy XV via DLC

Haruyoshi Sawatari , producer of Final Fantasy XV, has revealed that there is a possibility that Luna and other important characters of the game will end up being playable via future downloadable content.
We already know that a number of DLC for Final Fantasy XV will allow us to play as mates such as Noctis, Gladio, Prompto and Ignis, but apparently Square Enix is considering to add to these names also that of a woman.
Haruyoshi Sawatari, producer of the game, declared in an interview that the request to play as a female character, such as Luna, is very high, and the development company does not rule out the possibility of a DLC dedicated to some heroin.
When asked about this issue, Sawatari said they know that there is a demand for this type of content, as players want to play with more characters, so it is something that the company will study.
So far, the only additional characters that we can play are Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto (three companions of Noctis), who will be available through a series of downloadable episodes and an online cooperative mode which will come in the form of DLC.
Final Fantasy XV will launch on November 29 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will have voices in English, French, German and Japanese, and subtitles in Russian, Spanish, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese.
In it we will have to accompany the Prince Noctis and his loyal friends on a trip around the world of Fabula Nova Crystallis to discover the hidden truths.
