Rumor: Spyro the Dragon Treasure Trilogy Announcement Scheduled for March 16 2018

We are now on the eve of the announcement for the remake of Spyro The Dragon.

Spyro the Dragon Treasure Trilogy

The insider “B4DAS*” reported in a post on Reddit that Spyro the Dragon Treasure Trilogy will be announced in the next few hours and more precisely during the day of Friday, March 16th.

Spyro the Dragon Treasure Trilogy will include the remastered versions of Spyro The Dragon, Spyro Ripto’s Rage and Spyro Year of the Dragon, originally released on PS One between 1998 and 2000. The collection should be available on PS4 first and later on other platforms, similar to what happened with Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

The Reddit user “B4DAS*” says that its source is internal to the publisher Activision and therefore the information reported would be “absolutely real”. The same insider in the past weeks has revealed in advance some details about Call of Duty Black Ops 4, which turned out to be correct.

We are therefore waiting for some official information, with the real possibility that Spyro the Dragon Treasure Trilogy can be announced tomorrow, March 16, 2018. The question about the possible exclusivity for PlayStation 4 remains to be clarified, which seemed to emerge from the rumors that happened some time ago.

Vicarious Vision, which adapted the work of Naughty Dog, would be responsible for conducting the review of the title of Insomniac Games.
