Splinter Cell Conviction and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter coming to Xbox One backward compatibility?

2 205

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and Tom Clancy’s Spinter Cell: Conviction could soon make their appearance among the titles of Xbox 360 backward compatible with Xbox One.

As every week, Major Nelson announced the new titles that will become part of the catalog of backward compatible Xbox One titles. In this case, we have the entry of two new games.

According to a sentence on the Xbox page of the special discounts to the Tom Clancy titles, two titles in particular will be added to backward compatible.

The two titles were mentioned in a recent post published on the official website of Xbox as perfectly compatible with Xbox One, the offending sentence was, however, soon changed, as indicated by a NeoGAF user: “Or if you’d prefer to play some of the modern classic Tom Clancy games, available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One through Backward Compatibility, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter are also discounted up to 67% off!”.

It could be a simple mistake, or maybe the announcement came ahead of its time, it is not excluded that, therefore, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and Splinter Cell: Conviction will arrive early in the catalog of Xbox 360 backward compatible titles, we are still waiting for any official confirmation or denials though.

The Xbox One backward compatibility catalog has been enriched recently with other high-caliber games, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops II which was the most awaited game by many players for a long time.
