During the Nintendo Switch presentation event, the company had revealed that Splatoon 2 was in development and would arrive in the summer of this year. Now, the release date looks like it was recently leaked.
Splatoon 2 is one of the biggest releases that is expected for the first months of launch of Nintendo Switch and Amazon Italy would have put an end to the wait of many players who are fans of this new franchise. The Italian store has this new title in its store and has already put a release date, something that is not yet official because Nintendo itself has not yet raised the curtain for this game.
According to Amazon Italy, Splatoon 2 for Nintendo Switch will go on sale on August 15, 2017. It could be a simple placeholder, but the date coincides with the tentative launch of the title that is between July and September.
At the moment, Nintendo keeps the official release date secret, but we hope to see it soon, perhaps in E3 2017 or before.
The sequel to this revamped shooter will hit Nintendo Switch with new ways to play, more weapons and many hours of fun ahead. Of course, we still have to wait for summer so that the title reaches in our hand, because Nintendo has not given out its official date yet, something that Amazon would have remedied for this situation.
