The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has visited the studio The Coalition, based in Vancouver (Canada) to see first-hand the progress and development of one of the most anticipated exclusive title for Microsoft platforms, Gears of War 5. The game, which will arrive this year according to those responsible, “is looking great” in the words of Spencer himself.
He has tweeted himself, and as a joke, has argued that he has stolen and made the tweet when Rod Fergusson and his people did not look. “This is the only one I could sneak while Rod wasn’t looking. Gears 5 is looking great,” he wrote on his Twitter account. It is to be expected, as its release date approaches and we approach E3, that Microsoft and Xbox Game Studios will begin distributing new trailers, details and promotional material.
Gears of War 5 will arrive this year, as confirmed by their managers, and will tell us a new story full of action and shootings against aliens starring Kait.
Without forgetting its roots, Gears 5 will have a different color palette and a much riskier artistic design than in previous games, offering us open-world characteristics and a predominant narrative structure.
