We know that Treyarch, the studio responsible for the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, is working on a new project, most probably Black Ops 4. The studio hired new staff, as a character artist-body developer and a cutscenes specialist. Also, the studio assured that its next title will give priority to the narrative.

Treyarch has not yet revealed what game it is; however, everything points to the arrival of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. According to a report by Eurogamer, several sources have confirmed the development of this title that would debut later this year.

It is also not known which platforms the game will reach, but it is estimated that the title will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Regarding this issue, the self-styled insider, Marcus Sellars, said on his Twitter account that the game will also come to Nintendo Switch.

Sellars even ventured to point out that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be set in modern times and that, apparently, there will be no Advanced Warfare style jetpacks.

And if that was not enough, Sellars also said that the Switch version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 would have unique features, such as HD Rumble and motion controls.

We recommend that you take Sellars’ statements as a rumor and hope that Treyarch or Activision will provide details about it. These reports are not the only ones about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and its launch this year, as some Cowen & Company analysts also forecasted it that way.
