Following the closure of Visceral Games recently, most employees were relocated to other Electronic Arts internal teams, but there were also many layoffs.
With a short note posted on Twitter, Sony Santa Monica offered maximum support to former employees of Visceral Games, who were dismissed suddenly after the studio closed last night.
Electronic Arts already confirmed that most employees will be relocated to other company of the studios, but many have not accepted this choice, preferring to resign.
The developers of God of War, for their part, have invited talented former members of Visceral Games to get in touch with the studio for any proposals and entries within the staff currently working on the new adventure of Kratos and other projects that are not still announced.
There is no doubt that the most talented employees will be soon hired by other companies, while Electronic Arts will have to work hard to keep them repossessed. At the moment, there are still no clear reasons for the closure of Visceral Games. The Executive Vice President of EA, Patrick Söderlund, spoke about a rapid change in the market and that the title given to Visceral Games was not better.
Recall that Sony Santa Monica Studio is making God of War that is coming out next year for PS4.
