Sony not sure what level of demand there will be for PlayStation VR

Shuhei Yoshida, one of the leading executive of PlayStation, recently spoke about the level of demand that the virtual reality headset of Sony PlayStation VR will have, which will soon be available on 13 October.
According to Yoshida, Sony doesn’t know precisely the demand for these devices, since it will depend on how much users are satisfied with the product they receive. “To be honest, we don’t know what demand will be,” Yoshida told Bloomberg. “In terms of disruption, this is the most since PS1 and perhaps even greater than that,” said the executive.
For now, the truth is that preorder of PlayStation VR is totally exhausted at the official store of Sony, but also it was also completed on Amazon, although it is not known how many such devices are made for presales.
The analysts cited in the media of Bloomberg estimate that Sony could sell at least 1.5 million units of PlayStation VR in the remainder of 2016, and that by the end of 2017 they would be arriving at the amount of 3 million. Only time will tell if they are right.
Shortly after Sony made its VR product available at online retailers for pre-order, the headset was completely sold out. According to one forecast, the PlayStation VR can set a great success for the VR fans.
