Sony launches official PlayStation VR unboxing video

The PlayStation VR debut is in a couple of weeks, therefore Sony decided to show an unboxing video, to reveal all the content that will brought in the Core package.


Sony has posted PlayStation VR unboxing video on YouTube. In the video, which can be viewed at the end of the article, the contents of the box will be shown and the various components of the PlayStation VR is discussed.

Thus, the Core package of the PlayStation VR includes, evidently, the virtual reality viewer, stereo headphones, the cables necessary and the disc that has 18 demos.

On the front we see the sleek design with a single button under the lenses. The button, as well as an additional button on the back side, can be used to adjust the fitting, so that the belt and the distance from face to lens rests comfortably on the head. PlayStation VR is light and fits well around your head and do not rest on your nose, so you do not have to be afraid of a pinched feeling.

This package will be available on October 13, the day the PlayStation VR debuts in the United States. The device will come in two packages, the Core and it includes more than one PlayStation Camera, accessory needed to play.

According to Sony, during the first months of launching the PlayStation VR there will be about 50 games, among which there are Batman: Arkham VR, Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-wing VR Mission, Rigs: Mechanized Combat League, among others.
