For some years, the horror games left the perspective of the third person and sought a new form of expression with immersive experiences, full of tension and despair, all this from a first-person view. Currently, that is the standard that keeps the genre alive and yesterday a new horror title was presented that will come exclusively to PS4 called S.O.N.
RedG Studios revealed on the official PlayStation channel on YouTube the first gameplay video of its S.O.N horror title, which will arrive exclusively on the Sony console. The title puts us in the role of Robert Alderson, a father who lost his son Jay and his search takes him to a mysterious forest located in Pennsylvania, United States, and that is known by the inhabitants around as the South Of Nowhere.
Basically, the game is focused on the exploration of gloomy environments inhabited by creatures and entities ready to end your search.
Although it was originally thought that S.O.N would be an experience for PlayStation VR, RedG Studios confirmed that it is a regular release for PS4 and in the coming days, they will reveal more details about this new horror game.
S.O.N has a release date set for December 11, but we can go through something scary with their demo, scheduled for June 8. Check out the gameplay trailer of S.O.N below.
