0 303

After a few days full of uncertainty, we can finally meet the official Neo Geo Mini, the latest retro console that will include several classic games of the company, celebrating the 40th anniversary of SNK.

Thus, the console will have a design similar to the arcades of yesteryear, but with current elements. To be more exact, the Neo Geo Mini is based on the Neo Geo MVS arcade. There will be 2 versions, one for Asia and one for the international market, so it’s a fact that it will reach North America and Europe.

Its compact size allows you to carry it around and comes in two different colors. The red, white and blue version (which recalls the colors of the Neo Geo arcade cabinets in the 1990s) is for Japan, while the one for North America, Europe, and other regions is blue, white and black.

It will have a 3.5-inch LCD screen, input for headphones and 2 controls, as well as HDMI output for those who prefer to play on television. However, the system does not include a power adapter, only a USB cable.

For now, SNK has not announced the price or the release date of this Neo Geo Mini retro console. Nor the 40 games were revealed that will make up the collection, but the design of the system shows us franchises like The King of Fighters, Metal Slug, and Samurai Shodown; Obviously, the company will take several of its franchises to the retro system.
