Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition for Switch Release Date Announced

After the announcement of the arrival of the game on Nintendo Switch, thanks to a new trailer, Rebellion has revealed the release date of Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition on the hybrid console of the Big N. The tactical shooter will release precisely on October 1st this year.
The title will be published both in physical and digital format, but only the retail format can be pre-ordered starting today. For the digital pre-order on Nintendo eShop, it will be necessary to wait until September 17th.
Thanks to the Ultimate Edition, Nintendo Switch players will be able to enjoy all the content available so far for Sniper Elite 3. There will also be the four extra levels of the main campaign, which sees us committed not only to saving Churchill, but also to eliminate Hitler.
In addition to these contents, Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition also includes new features exclusive to Nintendo Switch, namely:
Co-op multiplayer and local: For the first time the game will also support local wireless multiplayer. We can also tackle the main campaign with another player. A local multiplayer mode will also be available where we will be able to face three other opponents for up to 4 players in total.
Motion control support: Players can choose to aim with the gyroscope controls. Moreover, thanks to HD rumble, they will also be able to feel the impact of bullets.
Support for the Pro Controller: The title will also support the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
