The Creation Club of Bethesda is very close to arriving at The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition and Bethesda want to celebrate this occasion. For this reason, it will launch a new Survival mode for the RPG that will deliver an experience only suitable for more hardcore players.

Bethesda explained that the Survival mode for Skyrim will add gameplay features and challenges that will transform Skyrim into a land dominated by unrelenting cold and ruthless nature.

Among the new challenges is the fact that you will have to eat to quench hunger and that it will be necessary to sleep periodically to recover from fatigue. In addition, you must use special equipment to protect you from the effects of cold and ice water.

If that does not sound hardcore enough, you will be glad to know that Survival mode will also end the fast trip and health regeneration. Also, you can load less weight; there will be several things that can make you sick; you will have to go to a bed to level up; the chapels will not cure you for free, and there will be vampires and werewolves who will stalk you to make your mission more difficult.

Do you find it interesting? Then pay attention: the Beta of Survival mode is already available in the Steam version of Skyrim Special Edition and you can try it from there. On the other hand, its final version for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One will debut before the end of October. Keep in mind that the mode will be free during its launch week and will later be offered as a paid content for the Creation Club.
