Skyrim Remaster available now for pre-order on Xbox One and PS4

The remastered version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, known as Special Edition, is now available for pre-order on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The information was revealed at first by Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the director of programming for Xbox LIVE, and it was then updated on the PS4 page.

Although it is assumed that you can also preload the game, according to information from Xbox LIVE, the file weighs only 106.15 MB. Bethesda clarified the situation and said that this is a temporary file that should change soon.

So, once that the preorders of The Elder Scrolls V: Special Edition starts, you can play this title from 12:01 am on October 28. This remastering is priced at $59.99 USD and will include all the previously released DLC.

Moreover, remember that The Elder Scrolls V: Special Edition will be free for PC, as long as the player has the previous title and all DLC. This was stated earlier through its official Twitter account, Bethesda Game Studios revealed something that will delight all PC gamers: those who have Skyrim and all its DLC for PC can upgrade to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition for free.

The remastering of Skyrim has new visual effects, shaders and improvements that was was announced by Bethesda in its lecture at E3 2016. In addition, the console version will support mods, just as it happened with Fallout 4.
