Shenmue III Confirmed To Release In 2018 With “Other Surprises”

Shenmue III is one of the most anticipated games of 2018 coming out on PlayStation 4 and PC. Many fans expected that the game was delayed to the first quarter of 2019, considering the possible size and expansion of the game, but it seems that will not be the case.
Cedric Biscay, the co-founder and CEO of Shibuya Productions, has used Twitter to congratulate his followers, recalling that 2018 will be simply fantastic thanks to the release of Shenmue III and other surprises.
Shibuya Productions is the team that is supporting Yu Suzuki and YS.Net in the development of Shenmue III, the goal of the two companies is to finish the works during the year and make sure that the third episode of the Ryo saga can arrive in stores at the end of the year, on PlayStation 4 and PC.
It is not clear what Biscay refers to when he talks about “other surprises”, we do not know if these are related to Shenmue III or if they are linked to other projects from Shibuya Productions.
Shenmue 3 will offer a game duration of around 30 hours and will feature a new Battle System. Check out the improvements that have been made in recent years in the trailer below.
