Shenmue 3 won’t be the end of the series, Yu Suzuki says

As many of you already know, Yu Suzuki, creator of Shenmue, is present at the Gamescom in Cologne. Some colleagues from different media were able to meet him and exchange few words with him, getting a very important information: apparently, Shenmue 3 would not be the narrative conclusion of the saga.
This, at least, was said by Yu Suzuki according to the imagination of himself. During an interview, the designer said that although the team had a clear picture of the story, it was not possible to complete it entirely in Shenmue 3, and consequently the real storyline is not present. T
This may mean that in the future, the conclusion of Shenmue’s story, begun in late 1999, could come to a possible fourth chapter, although there is no official announcement at this time.
The news that Shenmue 3 will not end the story of the series should not be particularly upsetting for the more attentive given that Suzuki himself had spoken of the need to develop the story in five or at least four different titles.
What do you think about the words of Suzuki? Did you know that the new game could introduce a major evolution in QTE? The Shenmue series, signed by Yu Suzuki, is renowned for its extensive Quick Time Event sessions, which adapt to both cinematic sequences and real fights.
Shenmue 3 will obviously have QTEs, and Suzuki said he was working hard to ensure the future of this precise gameplay mechanics.
Shenmue 3 is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and PC, its release is expected for December 2017.
