Shenmue 3 was delayed to 2019 last May, something that shattered the hearts of millions of fans waiting for the longed-for continuation of the iconic SEGA adventure this year. While the game continues to improve, now its makers, Ys Net, through Kickstarter has confirmed the first system requirements of the PC game.
YsNet has revealed the official system requirements needed to play Shenmue 3 on the Windows platform. Considering that the game is still in full development and is not even close to conclusion, the requirements in question should be considered as preliminary and not definitive, with possible changes that may occur in the future.
Also because in fact the basic requirements are mentioned and not the classic minimum and recommended configurations, so it is clearly an aspect still in progress. It should be noted, however, that on the GPU front only a minimal model is mentioned regarding Nvidia, so for AMD we must think about the consideration of the GeForce GTX 650 Ti.
Minimum PC System Requirements:
Operating system: Windows 7 ×64, Windows 8 ×64, Windows 10 ×64 (64-bit required)
Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 (3.40 GHz) or higher; four cores or higher.
Memory: 4GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti or higher (DirectX 11 and VRAM 2GB required)
DirectX: Version 11
Connection: Broadband Internet.
Storage: 100 GB of free space.
Soundcard: DirectX 9.0c or superior and compatible.
Additional information: Steam is required for activation.
Although in 2018 we will not have this long-awaited third party, Shenmue will be present in the world of video games. SEGA announced the high-definition remastering of Shenmue I & II, two flagship titles that will reach Xbox One, PS4, and PC this year.
