Although we did not know anything about Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, we were surprised by a new announcement made yesterday, as the developer has announced that the title of Shaquille O’Neal will come to Nintendo Switch.
In recent hours, the CEO of Saber Interactive, Matthew Karch, has confirmed that Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn will arrive on Nintendo Switch. Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn is a brawler game featuring the famous Shaquille O’Neal, and has just been confirmed its arrival on Switch.
That’s right, during an interview with Nintendo Everything, Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch revealed that the game will be coming to Switch so we can confirm that the title is still in development.
The first time we heard of Shaq Fu was in March 2014, when the company in charge of development announced a crowdfunding that would help finance the game. Then, in The Game Awards 2015, we saw the first trailer of the game, which was presented by O’Neal.
However, little information has been revealed since then, a situation that made many think that the game was canceled. Now, with its arrival to Nintendo Switch, we can say that the title is still under development, but at the moment it has no precise launch date.
Also, we do not know if the title will take advantage of the righteousness of the Nintendo Switch, but hopefully have some cooperative mode or make use of Joy-Cons interestingly.
