Flying Wild Hog revealed that the version of Shadow Warrior 2 for consoles already has release date. According to the official statement, the shooter will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from May 19.
As its name suggests, Shadow Warrior 2 is the sequel to Shadow Warrior, title that Flying Wild Hog had released in 2013. This new installment made its PC debut last year and was well received by its high-level action, structure of open missions and new skills such as climbing walls or double jumping.
In Shadow Warrior 2 you take control of Lo Wang, who after the facts of the first game, decided to live a life away from all his enemies. However, it does not take long until Wang is involved in a conflict between a young scientist, his nemesis and demonic forces that endanger the world. Thus, the hero is forced to go out again to fight.
One of the main novelties of this title is that it presents an online cooperative campaign for up to 4 players. Also, the game offers you a huge arsenal of weapons, such as short swords, katanas and several pistols that can be improved.
The console version of Shadow Warrior 2 will be available for $39.99 USD and will include a free copy of the first Shadow Warrior. For the moment, we do not know if their DLC packages – Way of the Wang and Bounty Hunt – will make its debut on consoles.
