Last November, and through a curious leak, we witnessed the first rumors about the continuation of the adventures of Lara Croft after Rise of the Tomb Raider. This new installment, titled in principle as Shadow of the Tomb Raider, has not been announced officially and it seems that it will not do until past this E3 2017.

Lara Croft is back this year through the third adventure of the “modern trilogy,” but according to the latest information, we can not count on a quick and impressive premiere. The team from Montreal needs more time.

The video game, which could be developed by Eidos Montreal – while Crystal Dynamics are occupied with their game of ‘The Avengers’ – would not appear in this E3 which will be held this year in June, leaving its announcement in the community for something later.

The rumor of this change of dates in the organizational chart of Square Enix comes from the website of fans of the Turning Point saga, who would have contacted Tomb Raider’s Community Manager, Meagan Marie.

“This will be a quiet E3 for Lara, but we’re looking forward to catching up on her new adventure later this year,” confirmed Marie. There are a few that point to the Gamescom – held in Germany during August – as a framework for the announcement, although at the moment there is nothing officially confirmed.

Its latest installment, Rise of the Tomb Raider, was released on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in 2015 and later in 2016 it arrived on PlayStation 4.
