With the arrival of some AAA titles to Nintendo Switch, there are those who hope that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will debut at some point on the hybrid console. However, the reality is something that seems difficult, or at least that is what Eidos Montreal statements indicate.

What we mean is that, in a recent interview with GameSpot, Heat Smith, designer at Eidos Montreal, said they have no plans for a Switch version of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. In addition, he proclaimed himself a fan of the Nintendo hybrid console; nevertheless, despite this, he felt that it was not the right platform for this adventure of Lara Croft.

More ahead, Smith made it clear that, at the moment, the priority of Eidos Montreal is the version for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Although this project has already reached its Gold development stage, it is possible that they are working on some type of post-launch update.

According to one report, the development of the game cost about $75 million. The title will be available in different editions, including a standard, the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Croft Edition. Each one will have different prices and contents of the launch d, y, as well as the Season Pass.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will debut on September 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
