Original: Shadow of the Tomb Raider is one of the most anticipated games for the end of the year and as you’d expect, one of the most popular questions about the game is related to the most powerful consoles on the market.
Many fans are wondering if the game of Eidos Montreal will take advantage of the added power of Xbox One X and according to information shared by David Anfossi, responsible for the Canadian studio, the team is handling that.
Anfossi revealed to Electric Playground that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will run at 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on Microsoft’s Xbox One X, boasting new technologies that make it visually more impressive.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is being optimized to take advantage of the power of all platforms where it will be available, but on Xbox One X the game will be embellished with a new rendering and lighting system.
Anfossi highlighted a scene with more than 155 NPCs in the image at the same time, which will run at 60 frames per second and 4K on Xbox One X. However, Anfossi says the game is equally impressive on Xbox One S.
In recent news, it was revealed that the game will be 13-15 hours long without side quests along with some more details included.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will hit stores on September 14th for PS4, PC and Xbox One. If you pre-order the game you can start playing the title on 12 September.
