Bluepoint Games, the studio behind the new Shadow of the Colossus for PlayStation 4, would seem committed to the realization of a new classic remake designed for the current-gen gaming platforms. The indiscretion comes from the job advertisements published on the site of the software house.
“We are passionately at work remaking a classic for current-gen game systems, growing our capabilities as a team and raising the bar for what fans anticipate from us,” reads the new job advertisements published by Bluepoint Games on its official website.
There are many open positions, ranging from the search for a new Senior Graphics Engineer to that of a Lead Animator, through the 3D Character Artist. The information itself is not very interesting alone. In any case, it could be possible that the developer is working on a new remake of Metal Gear Solid.
Coincidence? Hard to say for the moment, but it is clear that the game celebrates this year its 20 years of existence, so it’s a perfect opportunity to get a remake.
