A few hours ago, Sony shared a new preview of Shadow of the Colossus in which we saw that it is a remake that looks amazing.
That said, everything seems that the dumbbell between Bluepoint and SIE Japan Studio not only got to present improvements in the graphics but also in performance, since you will have the option to run the game at 60 frames rate per second on PlayStation 4 Pro.
Previously, Sony had indicated that Shadow of the Colossus remake will run at 1080p and 30 fps on PlayStation 4, while owners of PlayStation 4 Pro can play it with the same frame rate but with 4K resolution.
That said, according to a report, a document on the PlayStation press site indicates that those who play it on PS4 Pro will also have the option of playing it at 1080p and 60 frames rate per second.
While many will fall in love with the idea of playing Shadow of the Colossus in 4K, the 60 fps mode will be ideal for all those who have a PlayStation 4 Pro but have not yet acquired a 4K TV. In addition, it will be a way to feel even fresher an acclaimed title that suffered several frame rate problems in its original release.
