Along with the development of Sea of Thieves, Rare has been dedicated to document the process of creating the game and constantly release new videos where they give us some advances on the multiplayer game of pirates that will be available on Xbox One and Windows 10. This time, the company released the video corresponding to the panel of New York Comic-Con in which members of the development team participated.
Within all of the details revealed about Sea of Thieves in New York Comic-Con, the development team highlighted some details that will enrich the gaming experience.
One of them has to do with the situations that we will live in open sea where our ship could be damaged by a storm or by monsters, that we must eliminate; in that sense, the team mentioned that it will be necessary for the crew to get to work on repairs to try to fix the boat as soon as possible.
On the other hand, the developers of Sea of Thieves revealed that they are paying special attention to a progressive system that does not generate a huge gap between advanced players and newcomers since they want to avoid any situation where it is impossible for a bass team level can do damage or beat an advanced team.
Another of the important details for Sea of Thieves will come in the form of a pirate code, that is in order to meet the needs of all multiplayer game community regarding toxic behavior, a code of conduct will be presented and promoted by Rare. This code emphasizes that all members of the community are equal and confrontations only occur in the game, not outside it; cheaters will be punished and advanced pirates must teach novice pirates.
Sea of Thieves will arrive on Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2018.
