Rare has announced that this weekend the third Scale Test of Sea of Thieves will be held. Players will be able to return to game servers to help developers test network services better before the official launch of the game.
This is the third test, so players can return to the game servers to help developers optimize the game by providing feedback before the official launch takes place on the market.
Since the last testing phase, the Rare guys have carried out various interventions on the infrastructure. The goal is to verify the work done and to reach a number of players connected simultaneously even higher than last time. The new test will begin today on Friday, March 2 at 2 a.m. PST and will end on Sunday, March 4 at 2 a.m.
Those who have previously participated in such tests can use the same game client previously downloaded, while others interested can join the Insider program through the Insider Hub, which can subsequently download the test build for the game.
Sea of Thieves is expected on March 20 for Xbox One, PC, and PS4. It will be the first Microsoft title to debut directly in the subscription service of Xbox Game Pass. Meanwhile, the Redmond house has started the pre-orders for the bundle containing the game and an Xbox One S 1TB.
