Although Sea of Thieves debuted recently, the pirate title of Rare already has a large community. While there have been some problems due to a large number of players interested in it, you should not worry, because the studio is already working to improve the gaming experience.
Craig Duncan, the head of Rare, and Joe Neate, the executive producer of Sea of Thieves, talked about the launch of the game and the plans that they will continue for the community to be happy. To begin, the creatives commented that the title already has more than 1 million unique players. According to them, there are periods when more than 5000 users try to connect per minute.
Of course, this is a great achievement for Rare; however, in part, it has also represented a drawback. The large player rate has caused access problems. Therefore, the studio has already implemented some improvements in the servers and more changes are already underway.
As for the rewards and achievements, Rare is aware of the inconveniences to receive them. The creatives recommended to the community to continue playing because all the rewards obtained will come in the future. Also, they asked not to try to solve the problem when restarting the session, because this only aggravates the problem of concurrency.
Rare plans to implement a solution in this regard no later than tomorrow. If you have had a performance problem, you should know that there will also be improvements to optimize this section. On the other hand, if you do not have access to all its goods once your session is started, an update will soon be released that will end this problem.
That update will also end performance issues on Xbox One X registered only in specific areas of the game. Microsoft yesterday celebrated the launch of the title with a series of videos where you can learn the history of some pirates.
Rare members affirmed that they are ready for the entire life cycle of Sea of Thieves. On the other hand, a creative studio said there is no other title similar to this pirate adventure. In a somewhat curious detail, the developer mocked the patches of day 1 with a special object.
Sea of Thieves is available on Xbox One and Windows 10. What do you think about the game so far? Tell us in the comments below.
