Ska Studios announced that the PlayStation Vita version of Salt & Sanctuary, 2D action inspired by Dark Souls of From Software, entered in the certification phase, with the aim to release the game on the Sony handheld console by March.
Salt and Sanctuary is a 2D game inspired by Dark Souls, not only aesthetically, but also in gameplay and difficulty. This project is run by Ska Studios, whose team is led by designer James Silva and art director Michelle Silva.
The story of Salt and Sanctuary revolves around a member of the royal guard, who embarks on an adventure to save the princess who was kidnapped. During the game you will face hordes of enemies with the aim of rescuing her; however, the task will not be easy.
For those who have not yet played Salt and Sanctuary we have good news, since apparently the game will have a version for the Sony handheld console. In its official blog http://ska-studios.com/games/, Ska Studios has mentioned that it expects the game to arrive sometime in March this year.
There is still no information available on whether the game will be compatible with the tactile functions of the console, nor about whether there will be extra contents.
Earlier, the studio behind Salt and Sanctuary released the title for PlayStation 4 on March 15 last year, while the PC version arrived on May 17 of the same year. The game had positive reviews, you can buy it for $17.99 USD from PlayStation Store or Steam.
This does not necessarily mean that the game will be released in March, since the bureaucracy of the certification process may take more time as expected, but in any case it remains to confirm that the Playstation Vita version of Salt and Sanctuary will be marketed soon.
