After the much anticipated reveal of Project Scorpio, Jez Corden of Windows Central has listed some of the leading titles that could run in 4K on the new console of Microsoft, such as Forza Motorsport 7 and Crackdown 3. There could be also added The Witcher 3.
As you can read from the tweet at the bottom of this news, Jez Corden has hinted that The Witcher 3 might support the 4K resolution of Project Scorpio, answering a question from a fan who had asked whether the masterpiece of CD Projekt would have enjoyed some update on the new Microsoft console. Now all that remains is to wait for the reveal of the official Scorpio console set for April 6, tomorrow.
In other news, on the Spanish site of elsate.com appeared a rumor on the final name of Project Scorpio: the new Microsoft console could be called as Xbox One X, in line with the name of Xbox One S chosen for the model of Slim?
The rumor seems to make sense: if the Slim model of Xbox One was called Xbox One S, it does not seem strange at all that the new console of Microsoft would be called as Xbox One X, referring to the extra power made available by the hardware.
We stress that at the moment it is just a rumor, but to know the truth, we will just have to wait for the official launch of Project Scorpio set for April 6.
What do you expect from the new console of the Redmond? Let us know in the comment section below.
