Rumor: Call of Duty WWII Art Work leaked on the web
AllGamesDelta and Charlie Intel have released some images of the (alleged) promotional material for the new episode of Call of Duty, which according to reports should be titled as Call of Duty WWII and will be set during the Second World War.
According to the leaked online promotional material the next title of COD will be called Call of Duty: WWII. Unfortunately, the pictures do not show anything apart from soldiers, if they were true, the scenario in which it is set: the Second World War. It would thus be a return to the origins of the series, then as promised by Sledgehammer, with the complete abandonment of the sci-fi genre that had characterized the latest releases.
Sledgehammer Games had already announced that the Call of Duty of 2017 would return to a battle of the twentieth century (with boots on the ground) and at Christmas sent a greeting in which appeared a Colt M1911 pistol, used in World War II. Now we can enjoy this poster, in which American soldiers appear on a landing.
The two sites have spread not just some posters but also the images of the Steelbook cases, it is unclear, however, whether this simple concept or if the artwork is already final.
Activision and Sledgehammer Games have not commented on the news, in the past both AllGamesDelta and Charlie Intel have proved very reliable with regard to the leak related to Call of Duty, however, we are still waiting for any confirmation or denial about the existence of Call of Duty WWII.
