Ruffian Games Working on “Upcoming Titles” for Rockstar, Fans Predicting Bully 2 or GTA 6?

Many rumors have circulated around some Rockstar franchises in recent weeks, most of them point to new projects that could be on the way. Well, vacancies in a Scottish studio of Ruffian Games indicate that it is working together with Rockstar Games to realize some projects that could reach the next generation of consoles.

The Scottish Games Network revealed that there are vacancies for different engineering positions within the Scottish Ruffian Games studio and not only that, but that the projects are related to new Rockstar productions that have not been announced. Specifically, vacancies invite user interface engineers, graphics, as well as senior staff.

Several of the positions recommend the applicant to have “generalised experience in multiplayer action games developed for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and future platforms,” so we are talking about unknown projects that will most likely arrive on PlayStation 5 and Project Scarlett.

According to information from the site, Ruffian Games recently ended its participation in the inclusion of Halo: Reach in Halo: The Master Chief Collection, so it is now working closely with Rockstar on “upcoming projects.” It is important to mention that these are titles that are already in production.

This could be taken by many as something without support, but then it was the same Ruffian Games studio that corroborated that information, since through Twitter it confirmed that they are hiring staff for the positions that The Scottish Games Network mentioned, so we can be sure that Rockstar and Ruffian Games are already preparing at least one new game.

Obviously, the above gives rise to speculation. Some users consider that it is none other than Bully 2, while other fans point to Grand Theft Auto VI as the most viable option, because it must be taken into account that it will be 7 years now since the launch of Grand Theft Auto V, besides that there was no new release for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, except for the adaptations of Grand Theft Auto V.

If you do not know about Ruffian Games, let us tell you that it is a studio that worked for games such as Fragmental, the adaptation of Halo: Reach to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Crackdown 2 and many more, including some for Kinect. They even participated in several long-lived games that portray a long history within the video game industry.
