Sony, through its official PlayStation blog, has announced alongside Panic Button the arrival of a new update on February 21 for Rocket League that will support PS4 Pro and that will also improve the technical problems in the standard model of PS4.
Devin Connors of Psyonix Studios issued a statement on the official Sony PlayStation blog to report that the title of Rocket League will add support to the PS4 PRO (PlayStation 4 PRO) console.
Taking advantage of the hardware potential of the new PS4 PRO console, a series of optimizations were implemented to Rocket League to support resolutions of up to 4K and run at 60fps.
This update will allow the game to run at 1080p and 60fps on PS4 and 4K and 60fps in all the arenas for single player and two players on split screen in local multiplayer mode, improving performance.
The modes for three and four players on split-screen will also try to maintain that rate of frames per second according to the majority of the time in many of the arenas, always offering the aforementioned resolutions. In addition, we remind you that on the same day Hot Wheels saga will come through a new collaboration with the well-known brand of toys.
Rocket League is a successful soccer game with vehicles that is already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It was one of the great indie phenomena of 2015 and, judging by these figures, it continues to enjoy great popularity among players. Curiously, it will also feature a line of toys.
Recall that this official update of the game will be available next Tuesday, February 21.
