Many people are speculating if Rocket League will arrive on Nintendo Switch: to this question the development team tried to answer, with a note sent to the site Nintendo Everything.

The renowned independent developer Psyonix responsible for one of the independent titles most popular of recent times, Rocket League, has recently expressed considerable interest in the next platform from Nintendo, the Switch.

On the question, Psyonix has expressed in these terms: “We are excited as you are regarding the release of Nintendo Switch however, we don’t have enough information at this time if it will happen. For the mean time, let’s both keep our fingers crossed that it will. For all the latest information on upcoming releases, updates, and other news, please visit the Rocket League Facebook page or follow us on Twitter!”

Unfortunately the company has neither confirmed nor rejected the idea that Rocket League reaches the new Nintendo platform, despite its statement can lead us to think that it is working on a project for Switch, or intend to start doing so in the future.

It is not excluded that Psyonix wishes to evaluate the quality of online infrastructure of Nintendo Switch before deciding whether to bring Rocket League on the new console of Nintendo. We remain therefore on hold waiting for any updates about it.
